Is Trump Preventing WWIII?

Trump Breaks Silence On Signal Leak

Washington, D.C. — Former President Donald J. Trump is firing back at the mainstream media over what he calls their “desperate and pathetic” attempts to keep an outdated story alive — this time involving a leaked Signal app group chat related to military discussions on the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump didn’t hold back, praising Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) for standing up to NBC’s Kristen Welker during a tense on-air exchange. Mullin, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, pushed back hard as Welker tried to revive the controversy, which Trump and many Americans are calling a non-story.

“Senator Markwayne Mullin did a PHENOMENAL job shutting down Kristen Welker and the Radical Left’s nonstop witch hunt,” Trump wrote. “They keep dragging out the Signal story like it’s something new — it’s not. It’s old, it’s boring, and nobody cares!”

What Is the Signal App Controversy About?

At the center of the controversy is a group chat on the encrypted messaging platform Signal, where top defense officials reportedly discussed a pending strike on Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen. Liberal outlet The Atlantic, led by editor Jeffrey Goldberg, claims to have obtained screenshots from the chat — suggesting specific details about timing and military assets were shared.

But according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a trusted voice in the Trump administration, no classified military intelligence was disclosed. In fact, many believe the entire scandal is nothing more than a politically motivated media stunt designed to sabotage Trump’s momentum.

“This is just another distraction from our incredible accomplishments during the first 100 days,” Trump added. “They have nothing else to talk about because we’re winning for the American people.”

Trump: “Fake News Media Has Hit Rock Bottom”

Trump also took a moment to highlight the cratering trust in legacy media outlets like NBC, CNN, and MSNBC.

“The Fake News Media has the lowest approval ratings in history — and for good reason,” he posted. “Americans are tired of the lies, the spin, and the endless attempts to tear down real leadership.”

With Biden’s foreign policy blunders piling up, and America’s enemies growing bolder by the day, many conservatives say the Signal leak narrative is just another attempt to shift focus away from real issues — like border security, the economy, and restoring America’s strength on the world stage.

Bottom Line:
As the media continues to chase shadows, President Trump and his allies are focused on real results — rebuilding our military, protecting American sovereignty, and putting the American people first. That’s something the legacy press just can’t stand.
