DeSantis Claps Back At Trump
As you already know, former President Donald Trump has recently started taking shots at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis by referring to him as “Ron DeSanctimonious” and a few other things.
Americans were wondering how DeSantis would respond to Trump after the attacks and now it appears he has.
According to The Hill, DeSantis shocked everyone and brushed off the attacks from Donald Trump and said that it was “just noise” that he isn’t paying close attention to.
When asked about the attacks from Trump, DeSantis explained, “I think what you learn is, all that’s just noise, and really what matters is, are you leading, are you getting in front of issues, are you delivering results for people and are you standing up for folks? And if you do that, then none of that stuff matters.”
DeSantis definitely delivered results alright. While there was not a “red wave” in the midterm elections this year there certainly was in Florida.
DeSantis defeated his Democrat opponent Charlie Crist by almost 20 points and several other Florida Republicans won up and down the entire ballot.
“One of the things I’ve learned in this job: When you’re leading and getting things done, you take incoming fire. That’s just the nature of it,” DeSantis added.
