A mysterious hunting stand discovered near President Donald Trump’s Air Force One landing zone in Palm Beach, Florida, has triggered an immediate federal investigation and raised serious security concerns.
According to FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, the structure was found during a Secret Service sweep of the airport area — just days before President Trump’s scheduled return.
“The Secret Service was very concerned,” Bongino told Fox & Friends. “Agents discovered a hunting stand positioned with a direct view of the President’s arrival route.”

Once informed, FBI Director Kash Patel ordered a rapid response.
“The stand has been dismantled and flown to our lab,” Bongino explained. “We’re using every forensic tool available — digital, biometric, everything — to identify who put it there and why.”
Federal sources say the object was located last Thursday overlooking the tarmac. No suspects were found at the scene, but its placement suggests possible surveillance or targeting intent, sparking renewed fears about politically motivated threats.

Fox News host Lawrence Jones noted that the discovery comes amid a wave of political violence, including the July 2024 assassination attempt on President Trump and the murder of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk just weeks ago.
Bongino confirmed that the Secret Service has tightened its security perimeter and made major adjustments to protective protocols around Trump’s Florida residence and travel routes.
“This is a zero-fail mission,” Bongino warned. “There are no second chances when it comes to protecting a former President of the United States.”
