Trump’s Pentagon Releases More UFO Files
A newly released collection of Pentagon UFO records is once again sparking questions about what the federal government may know regarding mysterious aerial encounters that have puzzled Americans for decades.
On Friday, the Department of Defense released another wave of declassified documents, videos, and audio recordings tied to unidentified anomalous phenomena, commonly referred to as UAPs or UFOs.
The release comes after President Donald Trump pledged greater transparency surrounding long-classified government records, including files connected to unexplained aerial sightings and national security investigations.
The newly published materials include more than 40 videos requested by lawmakers, additional military records, and audio tied to historic NASA space missions.
For many Americans, especially those who have long questioned official explanations surrounding UFO incidents, the latest disclosures are being viewed as another major step toward government accountability and public transparency.
Pentagon UFO Archive Expands With New Videos and Reports
The newest batch of files follows an earlier release that contained previously unseen photographs, military reports, archived footage, and NASA mission documents dating back decades.
Some of those earlier records involved the Apollo 12, Apollo 17, and Gemini 7 missions, during which astronauts described witnessing strange lights and unexplained objects while traveling through space.
The latest release includes several written accounts tied to mysterious aerial incidents investigated by multiple federal agencies over the years.
One file reportedly contains testimony from a U.S. intelligence official who personally witnessed an unexplained object. Another document includes a CIA-era report involving a UFO sighting in the Soviet Union during the 1970s.
A particularly significant release contains more than 100 pages of investigation records connected to sightings reported in Sandia, New Mexico, between 1948 and 1950.
Those files involve the Armed Forces Special Weapons Program and the U.S. Air Force during the early Cold War period. Historians note that the program emerged directly from the Manhattan Project following World War II.
NASA Mission Audio Draws Attention
Some of the most talked-about material involves audio recordings from historic NASA missions.
One debriefing tape from the Apollo 12 mission reportedly captures astronauts discussing repeated flashes of light they observed while attempting to sleep during the 1969 mission.
Additional audio from Mercury-Atlas flights includes astronauts describing strange floating particles they could not identify, referring to them as “light shavings” while in orbit.
The recordings have fueled renewed public curiosity about what astronauts may have encountered during America’s early space missions.
Newly Released UFO Videos Raise More Questions
Several videos included in the release are already gaining widespread attention online.
One clip appears to show multiple unidentified objects moving underwater before another object suddenly enters and exits the frame at high speed.
Another video tracks a fast-moving white object that appears to abruptly change direction before disappearing from view.
Lawmakers have also pushed for the release of footage tied to previous high-profile military investigations.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna said many of the newly published videos were specifically requested by Congress as part of ongoing oversight efforts into military UAP investigations.
One video reportedly includes infrared footage connected to an object reviewed at Eglin Air Force Base in 2023. Luna and former Rep. Matt Gaetz previously traveled to the base seeking access to the footage firsthand.
Government officials previously stated the object may have been a commercial lighting balloon, though many observers remain skeptical of that explanation.
Another released video reportedly involves the object shot down near Lake Huron following the Chinese spy balloon incident that raised serious national security concerns across the country.
Americans Continue Demanding Answers
The Pentagon’s growing UFO archive is once again fueling debate over government secrecy, military transparency, and national security.
For years, Americans have questioned whether federal agencies were withholding information about unexplained aerial encounters involving military personnel, pilots, and astronauts.
Now, with additional videos, reports, and mission audio becoming public, interest in the issue continues growing across the political spectrum.
Supporters of greater disclosure argue the American people deserve clear answers regarding unexplained incidents that have remained hidden behind classified investigations for decades.
As more files continue to be released, many are wondering whether Washington is finally beginning to reveal the full story behind one of the country’s most enduring mysteries.
