This is totally inappropriate and just plain gross!

The liberal media is at it again—this time twisting an innocent exchange between Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and President Donald Trump to create a fake controversy.

A recent sneak preview of a book by Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt, titled Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power, alleged that Trump once offered Luna a place to rest on his private jet while she was pregnant and feeling unwell.

Trump reportedly joked, “If you need to sleep in a bed, there is on on the plane… Just don’t tell my wife. She does not like other ladies on my bed.”

Any reasonable person can see that Trump was joking—but that didn’t stop the left-wing media from spinning the story into something sinister.

The Daily Beast’s Smear Campaign

Instead of reporting fairly, The Daily Beast ran the misleading headline:

👉 “‘Don’t Tell Melania’: Trump Once Offered Rising MAGA Star His Bed”

The article implied an inappropriate relationship between Trump and Luna, despite admitting—several paragraphs in—that Luna was pregnant and unwell at the time. This was not an act of kindness—it was framed as a scandal.

The Daily Beast’s post on X (formerly Twitter) doubled down, falsely suggesting something improper had taken place:

“The new discovery explains how Trump allegedly offered a female lawmaker his bed, as long as she promised to keep it a secret from his wife.”

The Truth: Trump Showed Kindness, Not Impropriety

Luna, rightfully outraged, responded on X:

“I rarely reply to disgusting headlines because I do not like giving garbage credibility… However, now there’s allegedly a book being released with me named and attacking the president, his marriage, Melania Trump, and frankly suggesting something sick about me, I am responding.”

She then set the record straight:

✔️ She was very pregnant and experiencing symptoms of pre-eclampsia.
✔️ Trump, being the gentleman that he is, kindly offered her a place to rest.
✔️ The offer was made respectfully, in front of her husband.
✔️ Trump even reassured her that there was a medical team on board, ready if needed.

“This was the nicest thing that could have been done when it happened. I find it sickening that the author fails to realize that.”

The Media Gets Caught—Again

Thankfully, The Daily Beast was fact-checked by Community Notes, which clarified:

👉 “Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has responded publicly to the allegation. She claims nothing inappropriate occurred, she was not asked for comment, and this situation is being presented out of context.”

Despite the blatant bias, Axios attempted to defend itself, claiming its report was “contextualized.”

White House Calls Out the Fake News Industry

White House communications director Steven Cheung didn’t hold back, blasting the book (and the media at large) as nothing more than a cash grab off of President Trump’s name.

Final Thoughts: The Left Can’t Stop Smearing Trump

This is just another example of how the liberal media distorts the truth to attack Trump and his supporters.
